BAND SEASON STARTING SOON!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PARENTS & STUDENTS
Registration:
Band Registration is set for July 23, 2011 in the OPHS Bandroom. All students who are interested in being enrolled in band during the upcoming school year must be present at registration along with a parent or guardian. All necessary forms to participate in the band will be completed at registration, students will be sized for uniforms, instruments will be rented (if needed) and band fees due will need to be paid at this time. Please remember that all students MUST have a current documented health physical completed prior to registration. The physical must have occurred after July 1st of 2011. The following schedule will be followed:
Seniors- 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Juniors- 11 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
Sophomores- 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Freshmen- 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please click on the following links to review and print all documents which will be used to register your child to the band. Some documents may not apply to your child. If you are not renting an instrument for example, the Instrument Rental Contract will not need to be completed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

2011-2012 Fee Schedule:
*Band Camp Fee – $50.00 (Required of all students regardless of program)
*Band Program Fee for Winds: $250.00
*Percussion Program Fee: $350.00
*Fall Guard Program Fee: $350.00
*(Band Camp Fee plus Program Fee equals total amount due at Registration)
Please be aware all band fees are due in full at registration. No payment plans will be available. As per Orange Park High School policy, no student will be allowed to participate in the band program without full payment being made.

Financial Aid Scholarships:
A limited number of financial aid scholarships are available by application. If you are interested, please click on the link below for qualifying instructions and an application. Please be aware all applications MUST be received by NO LATER than July 17th, 2011 in order to be considered. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Band Camp:
Band Camp will begin on July 27th and end on August 12th. Please read the attached schedule for specific dates and times for your child.

Corporate Sponsorships:
Many of our Band Parents work or own businesses which would greatly benefit from the exposure of being a Corporate Sponsor of the Orange Park High School Band Program. In addition to the business benefit, any parent or student which obtains a Corporate Sponsorship for the band program, receives a credit to their student account in the amount of 20% of the sponsorship.
